Saved me from buying step in boots for use to and from skiing… always got sick of tying wet boot laces that were in the snow after kicking off my ski boots. I love these laces. They work great in my running shoes. They are comfortable and keep everything in place. I no longer have to worry about my laces coming untied while running. The material is very strong and of a high quality and I love that they are reflective.

The sizing guide was accurate for my small waist, without too much left over material, I didn't have to adjust it at all. Fits great! I love the ease of the clasp!

Color of show laces pop on shoes.

I bought these in the gray reflective variation for use on my Vessi shoes. They work perfectly and allow the shoe to be slipped on/off with ease. They look like they belong on those shoes like they were what originally came with it... but they are better than the laces that came with the Vessi. Easy to follow the instructions / video guide on how to attach the connectors to the laces.

Also bought a dark brown pair for my Brunt workboots while match perfectly and I don't have to deal with the laces coming untied.

I definitely recommend these laces or the flat variation depending on your shoe lacing system.

Once you go Xpand, there’s no turning back. I bought a few to tryout and I came back buying for all my boots, dress shoes and sneakers. In comparison to other brands out there, Xpand is the best. More durable, practical yet simple. It speaks quality and it’s 2nd to none. My personal favourite is the quick release Xpand has become my essential!

In general: Xpand exceeded my expectations in every way, starting with ease of installation. Next was ease of slipping the shoe on and off. Next was retention. (My shoes never feel like they might come off on their own.) Finally, comfort. It seems like some of these should at the cost of others, right? I'm not sure how this product is even possible. (I suspect magic.)

They are ALSO great for skateboarding:
1) The convenience of slipping shoes on and off at the skatepark to quickly swap out ankle, shin, or knee pads.
2) Skateboarding shreds ALL laces, but Xpand laces "repair" really well - you can simply tie them back together when they break and keep skating. (The elastic tension keeps the knot from coming undone.)

Pro tip: for some of my shoes, I can cut the laces in half and get two laces for the price of one. (Try before you cut - this doesn't fit all shoes.)

These make my shoes look so much better without clutter of bows. And... the elastic keeps the shoes secure on my foot yet totally comfortable and so easy to slip on and off! I also love the range of colors to match or complement various shoe colors. I bought four pairs (each in a different color) and I'm happy with all of them.
