Like you, our team here at Xpand has been working to navigate this unprecedented situation and these uncertain times. We wanted to take this opportunity to share with you what we are doing to ensure that we protect ourselves, our employees, and our community. We continue to monitor the situation closely and follow recommendations by the WHO, CDC, PHAC, NHS and other government agencies.  We will adjust protocols and operations as needed and promise to keep you, our valued customers, informed every step of the way.

HEALTH & SAFETY

1. The Xpand head office team is working remotely for the foreseeable future. We are leveraging technology to keep our company operations running as smoothly as possible while maintaining the safety of our team members and doing our part to stop the spread of COVID-19. 
2. Our factories and warehouses continue to operate, however, extra precautions have been taken to ensure that the workspace remains clean and safe for those working in these locations. These precautions include additional cleaning, adjustments to allow for physical distancing between employees and resources to help them stay healthy.

ONLINE ORDERS & CUSTOMER SERVICE

1. As always, we are committed to serving you onxpandlaces.com where we are open 24/7. In order to make your shopping experience as worry-free as possible, we will continue to operate our online store while following the highest safety standards and local regulations of sanitation at our fulfillment center to keep you and our team safe and healthy.

SUPPORTING FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE WORKERS

In addition to adjusting our company operations, we felt it was important to see if we could help in any way. Here is how we are contributing:

1. A portion of Xpand sales will be donated to local and international hospitals. If you would like us to add a specific hospital to our list, please email us athello@xpandlaces.com
2. We will also be donating our laces to hospitals as they work to combat the spread of this virus. We know that an untied shoelace in a chaotic hospital setting is, at best, distracting and, at worst, dangerous. 
3. Additionally, our customers who work in the medical field alerted us to the fact that our laces function well as straps for DIY face masks. For this reason, we will be donating our laces to community members who are sewing masks for our healthcare heroes.
